Subsidized Child Care
IMACA Community Connection for Children (CCC):
The CCC office, located at 625 Old Mammoth Road, Mammoth Lakes, provides resources, subsidies, referrals, support and training to parents, child development professionals and the community in Mono County. Funding for these programs comes through California Department of Education, Mono County Department of Social Services and First 5 Mono County. IMACA’s CCC is dedicated to improving the quality of childcare throughout Mono County.
- Alternative Payment Child Care Programs
This is a parental choice child care program providing child care subsidies for low-income families in Mono County. The program provides financial assistance for child care costs while ensuring that families can access quality settings for their children. Parents must be income eligible and have a documented need for child care. Depending upon the specific funding/program, eligible parents may be employed, seeking employment, in a training or education program, referred by Social Services, incapacitated or homeless and seeking either housing or employment or both. IMACA’s Alternative Payment Child Care Program is funded through California Department of Education.
